What kinds of apartments do you have?

The Boxley has 24 apartment suites with secured building access, featuring 6 different floor plans. All suites have granite countertops, stainless steel appliances (dishwasher, refrigerator, oven and microwave), garbage disposals, and efficiency size washer/dryer.

What is the utility fee?

Each apartment suite is billed a $85 Utility Fee each month, which reflects a substantial discount on utilities for residents. The fee includes the following:

  • Water, sewer, trash
  • High speed internet access
  • Limited-access building with digital surveillance system
  • Package delivery services

Cable and electric are not included in the utility fee. Residents establish service directly with AEP.

When is rent due?

Rent is due the first day of each calendar month. Pay rent online and request maintenance here.

What is the pet policy?

The Boxley does not allow pets.

What is the term of the lease?

Leases terms are for one year.

What about parking?

Residents of The Boxley may participate in the City of Roanoke’s Residential Parking Program.

HISTORY

The Boxley Building was built in 1921-22 by builder-developer-quarry owner William Wise Boxley, who was also mayor of Roanoke when the building first opened. The building stands eight stories high with granite on the first story. Read More
